The Container Blast Room is a practical and cost-effective solution for businesses requiring a dedicated blasting facility without committing to permanent building space. Designed within a 20ft shipping container, this unit provides a fully enclosed, weather-resistant blasting environment suitable for outdoor installation.
With internal dimensions of 5300 × 2350 × 2350 mm, the booth offers ample working space while maintaining a compact footprint. Dual personnel access doors with viewing windows allow safe and convenient entry from both the rear and right-hand side of the container.
The interior is fully protected with 5mm rubber lining on the side walls, rear wall, and ceiling to maximise durability and extend service life. A heavy-duty 5mm diamond plate steel floor provides robust support under demanding operating conditions.
For operator visibility and safety, the booth is fitted with six 60W EX-rated) lighting units. The air intake system includes a rain-protected inlet frame mounted on the right side, while the exhaust outlet is positioned at the rear and designed for connection to a suitable dust collection or sandblasting extraction system.
The rear internal wall incorporates 50mm rockwool insulation with a 5mm rubber lining for improved durability and noise reduction. A 500mm-high steel grid mesh section at the lower rear wall supports effective airflow management.
